The CDC has quietly revised its guidance on coronavirus testing to say that people without symptoms who were exposed to an infected person might not need to be tested.

People without symptoms account for up to 50% of transmission," tweeted Dr. Leana Wen, a public health professor at George Washington University the former health commissioner of Baltimore. "We need MORE testing, not less."
