“Residents and staff will be screened twice-daily for any signs of illness. Those who develop symptoms will be isolated, tested for COVID-19 and provided the care they need.” COVID-19 protocols had already been in place at Bear Creek, including mandatory masks and eye protection for staff, enhanced cleaning practices, physical distancing, staggered meal times, cancellation of group activities and visitor restrictions.
