A coronavirus outbreak which wreaked havoc at the Newmarch House aged care facility in western Sydney was the subject of an investigation following the deaths of 19 elderly residents. The report states the situation within the facility was “disorganised and chaotic” while “family members felt disempowered, helpless and let down as they found it difficult to make contact with the home.

We knew this from the beginning, what has been done to date to prevent this happening again?
It wasn’t the Govt that caused the issues it was the actions of the ppl running the homes. Poor employment practice, zero education, all audits and no action and sidelining any visitors. Once staff were off sick etc they couldn’t be replaced. All should’ve been moved to hospital.
Has Morrison resigned over this ?
Nursing homes supposedly sterile, clean, professional nursing and medical staff.....wrong !
There are staff 'shortages at every bloody aged care facility but NO ONE is listening or willing to do anything about it. This has been the situation for decades but for some dog with a bone reason ,those in power WILL NOT ADDRESS IT. All the education in the world will not help.
We know
