A COVID-19 cluster linked to the Brisbane Youth Detention Centre has grown to nine cases after two family members of an infected worker, tested positive.

Among the new cases is a child who is said to be doing well, however, subject to a few outstanding test results, no infections have been recorded among the inmates of the Wacol facility. Queensland Health has released a contact tracing alert for dozens of businesses across the south-east.
