Experts say end of PHE agency raises doubts over national strategy

Health secretary Matt Hancock was under mounting pressure last night to say who will take responsibility for the national fight against obesity after his controversial decision to close down Public Health England caused dismay among experts.

Was it ever successful? They made a lot of noise but did they achieve ANYTHING?

Oh please. Don’t fret. We all know that Matty is working up a contract to outsource that function to the private sector (without a tender of course) just as soon as a relative/associate of Dido or Dom has incorporated a company to sign it.

We don't need an anti obesity campaign. We have the consequences of Brexit instead. Plenty of belts to be tightened (until we rejoin, five years from now).
