Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah clarified that the employer of a Covid-19 case that was reported on Aug 10 had initially quarantined the employee at a hotel in Subang Jaya while waiting for the employee's Covid-19 test results."After confirming the Covid-19 test result, the registered address of the case was then moved to his home address in Bandar Tun Hussein Onn, Cheras before he was admitted to the Sungai Buloh hospital.
"This is important because every active case detection action and also close contact tracing was done at the place he lived, which is in Bandar Tun Hussein Onn, Cheras. This location was then updated on the MySejahtera app," he said in a statement on Saturday . Earlier, a viral message on social media caused panic as it urged people to avoid certain shopping malls in Subang Jaya because positive Covid-19 cases had been detected in the area.
