: The Health Ministry has issued a compound on Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Dr Mohd Khairuddin Aman Razali for appearing to flouting the rules under the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988.
“Khairuddin returned from Turkey on 7 July. His first swab was found to be negative. The second and third Covid-19 test was also found to be negative,“ said the Health Ministry in a press statement today. The Health Ministry also said enforcement officers have issued a RM1,000 compound towards Khairuddin for failing to adhere to rules on Aug 7 and he has paid the fine.Khairuddin’s flouting was first highlighted by Seputeh MP Teresa Kok on Aug 18 in Parliament.
