Most of the arrested individuals were engaged in illegal cock fighting and playing cards known as “pusoy”, PRO 13 Regional Public Information Office chief Maj. Renel E. Serrano told The Manila Bulletin on Monday.
He said all the operating units seized fighting cocks, bet money and cards, and were preparing the charges to be filed against the suspects. Serrano added that all that those arrested were facing charges for violation of the Anti-Illegal Gambling Law.
