My message is unchanged. I am pleading with the people of Arizona to stay home, and if you have to go out, socially distance and wear a mask. However, this time I am sharing my message with the hope of preventing myself from having to tell a patient that, because their calculated score was higher than someone else's, the best I can offer them is comfort care.
First and foremost, I would encourage people to think about their sources of information. The health care professionals, epidemiologists and public health experts have a unified goal to minimize the spread of the virus to save lives. There is no agenda or malicious intent. The goal is to save lives. Epidemiologists don't pretend to be experts on politics, commerce or governance.

N95 will stop 95% of particles larger than .5 microns. A cloth mask will stop a bacteria larger than 6 microns. The Covid19 virus is .1 microns in size. N95 is great for stopping bacterial infections. A virus? Not so much. Cloth mask is just as good as my handkerchief.

Yes masks need to be worn BUT there are many cases of death that were not from covid19. Guy in Florida HAD IT BUT RECOVERED and was killed in a motorcycle accident and they listed cause of death as covid19. Something is fishy!
