PETALING JAYA: The increasing Covid-19 cases, as well as the emergence of new clusters, are due to the complacency of the public and their non-compliance with standard operating procedure (SOP) set by the government in dealing with the pandemic, says the Health Ministry.

said since July 1, the ministry had recorded 15 new clusters.

Dr Noor Hisham said data obtained through the MySejahtera app from July 7 to 20, found that 24.8% of the total individuals who have been placed under the Home Surveillance Order did not use the Home Assessment Tool function. "Of this total, 10% were found to have not undergone their Covid-19 screening on the 13th day," he said during his press briefing on Thursday .
