'I feel sorry for him ... He's shot, he really is.'

Earlier this month, club CEO Paul White confirmed the presence of performance-based measures in Seibold's contract that could necessitate an early departure for the coach from his deal.

"I feel sorry for him sitting at press conferences. I've seen this look before plenty of times, it'd probably be the humane thing to do. But business-wise and money-wise, they're not in a position to do that. With little experience and leadership qualities in the starting line-up Gould argued there's only so much Seibold could do with the combination of players at his disposal."He needs help, the club needs help, the players need help – one of the things they do need to look at and review is how their roster got in this shape.

"There is no experience in that team to hold it together when they need it most. He can't do anything once they take the field. The kids have no idea what they're doing. I feel sorry for the young blokes that have been put in that environment, they don't know how to cope they don't even know what NRL football is all about."

Danny_Weidler Gould would give him the biggest spell if he could.

PhilGould15 If he were my employee he’d be on stress leave. There is a duty of care here. As a Broncos fan I’ve been critical and he has brought in himself but it was terrible to watch what another human was going through in that press conference.

PhilGould15 Bring back Griffin.

PhilGould15 The Broncos board is the issue, they digned the players n coach to crazy terms. Lockyer n others need to man up to say they got it all wrong

PhilGould15 Funny how all the talk recently was around St George Paul McGregors' imminent demise - however in sharp contrast Dogs' Dean Pay, Cowboys' Paul Green and Warriors' Stephen Kearney have been dismissed with the blowtorch squarely on Broncos' Anthony Siebold. WhodWannaBeAnNRLcoach

Danny_Weidler This is the complete opposite of what he said about the Dragons just before they were going to punt McGregor.
