PETALING JAYA: The Health Ministry has identified a new Covid-19 cluster dubbed the 'Kuching engineering cluster'.

PETALING JAYA: The Health Ministry has identified a new Covid-19 cluster dubbed the"Kuching engineering cluster"."The first case, patient 8,694, is a worker of an engineering company who received treatment from a medical facility on July 9 when he showed breathing symptoms. He tested positive for Covid-19 on the same day.

"Contact tracing and investigations are underway. As of now, 32 close contacts have been identified and screened. "Of the 16 colleagues and 16 family members screened, one tested positive for Covid-19 while 16 tested negative.It added that disinfection and cleaning works have been conducted at the company's premises.
