The Las Pinas City government deployed 10 transport marshals around the city on June 30 to check that all forms of transportation, including buses and solar e-jeepneys, as well as commuters were following the imposed health protocols.
She added that the marshals wear red uniforms, while TMO members in green uniforms handle the traffic around the city. “Cooperation from our city residents as well as our transport group is very much needed to fight the spread of the coronavirus in the city,” Aguilar said. With the extension of the general community quarantine in Metro Manila up to July 15, Aguilar reminded the public of the strict implementation of face mask wearing, physical distancing, and the curfew period from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.
