The Gauteng Health Department says it's concerned at the rising numbers of active COVID-19 cases.

Makhura cautioned that Gauteng residents should brace themselves for a peak of infections.

The Premier said the storm of COVID-19 has arrived in Gauteng and will take all stakeholders to weather the storm.between it and car manufacturer BMW aimed at curbing and managing the spread of the virus.It involves the upgrading of eight hospitals across three provinces as well as four community clinics.
