NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard says as cases spike in Victoria, he is “extremely concerned” a similar coronavirus outbreak could occur in NSW. Victoria has recorded 33 new

cases overnight, with a testing blitz to be carried out in 10 suburbs with high instances of community transition. Mr Hazzard asked Victorians to stay at home, urged NSW residents to cancel plans to travel to Melbourne in the near future and said the AFL and NRL had agreed to ensure tickets were not sold to Victorians. “We can’t run the risk of more transmission being initiated by Victorians who may have this very dangerous virus”.
