Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the country has managed to control the Covid-19 infection rate and said that it is inevitable that life will have to return to normal.
“We now allow these social events but we will monitor them closely, ” said Dr Noor Hisham at the ministry’s Covid-19 press conference here. “Our active cases are now less than 250, at one point it was 3,000 cases. We managed to stop this by ordering people to stay at home.“If you can practise this, avoid shaking hands or physical contact, we can prevent the virus from spreading, ” he said.
