Victoria's Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton said there was nothing unusual about the case. 'There are lots of people who test positive one day, they’re at the very tail-end of their infection and then they test negative the following day.'

But what about the tests before that Don't worry they don't count Geez what a pack of pure lies These people have and are ruining people lives C'mon let's start being Australian and start calling out this rubbish

But he tested negative all week before that?

Now just HANG ON THERE ONE SECOND!!!! Did the VCHO just state that the adaptive immune system could swing in to action and wipe out a virus in 48 hours? SERIOUSLY? TELL ME HOW EXACTLY?!

Explain how he tests negative on Wednesday irregular on Friday positive on Saturday and negative again on Monday. How did the previous tests miss the virus according to this explanation

What bullshit, he probably never had it, the tests DO NOT DIAGNOSE ANYTHING.

That might cut it if not tested every second day. So how many of the current so called spike have now been retested to see if they were also wrong. Might be worthwhile given reaction is looking to further torch the economy.

There’s lots of false negatives when swabs don’t get enough virus to register, but there aren’t many false positives.

Lol sure. You really think we are stupid don’t you

Did the CHO say those quotes at a media conference? If so this would have been a great time for the imposters pretending to be journalists to ask a question about how is it tail end given the negative test two days earlier 🤷🏻‍♂️

At the very end really. I thought players have been tested twice a week for the last few weeks. Therefore why didn’t test come back positive earlier than 5 days ago

Thought the AFL were testing players twice a week.........something looks odd here.

So he should be!! he should have never gone to training when he knew very well there was some uncertainty regarding his tests!! One word Selfish!!

This makes no sense.

It proves they have no idea total BS we’ve all seen the vision but only one other player quarantined play the Benny Hill music

Stevo7AFL Yeah, but how many test negative then positive then negative in a 6 day span It’s all bullshit🤦‍♂️

Stevo7AFL Can someone in the media follow up with him and say how is that possible if he tested negative on the Tuesday of that week. How can he be at the tail end if judging by there test results he had it for 48 hours

Stevo7AFL According to a timeline put out, he had a negative test on the Wednesday, an irregular result on Friday which saw another test done that was positive on Saturday. Either Wednesdays test result was incorrect or Friday's was.

Stevo7AFL What about the 3 days prior when he was negative ?

Stevo7AFL Excuse my ignorance but he had a series of negative tests leading up to his positive, so how is it possible he was on the back end?

Argument might stack for normal punter but not someone tested as regularly as him. Not buying it..

Stevo7AFL That makea no sense. He tested negative on Wednesday.

Stevo7AFL I'm still confused

Stop 🛑 pushing the Bullsh$t NoW

This is concerning. I fell ill in early March. Headache, dry cough (which I still have), fatigue and temperature. I had two tests done - both negative. What concerns me is that I could have had it and was just going about my business once I thought I was negative.

More BS from the government... they have completely lost the plot with this virus. He is negative and still needs to isolate for 14 days? Enough is enough

What a load of shit. Surely CHO and deputy CHO should be out on their arse. Both have indicated they have no fkn idea

There's also false positives as well as false negatives.

How can he possibly be at the tail end of his infection when he ony tested positive last Friday? This is rubbish, someone's stuffed up big time here - makes me wonder how many other tests have been botched.
