Victoria has recorded another 20 cases of coronavirus overnight, taking the state's total to 1,884.
Health Minister Jenny Mikakos told ABC Radio Melbourne the reproduction number, or R0 number, in Victoria had risen from below one to 2.5 in the past week.Ms Mikakos said 2.5 was "unacceptably high" and the R0 figure needed to stay below one.
A couple things: how the f**k can they model/project the entire State’s viral Reproduction Rate from a sample of 20 infections?; and when did 2 reported infections become a “cluster”? FFS, I’m sick of this shit.

We’re going to continue seeing an increase in numbers over the next week given the virus infectivity period. The numbers weren’t going to suddenly change overnight. Plus testing has increased so there’s going to be more cases detected

The virus can live much longer in cold and wet environment. This is how VIC is now, similar to Jan of Wuhan. Hence VIC need to be more strict of lockdown for hotspot areas. Also for international travellers, should redirect to hotels in warm states, to ease VIC pressure.

Victoria has been in strict lockdown for months, yet planes from India and china arrive 24/7 then they add it to Victorias toll of virus numbers. The fact is Victoria is doing wonderfully well. Shopping centres have been packed for weeks and people are getting on with living
After following the rules for months the Victorian public watched the govt & authorities stand back & let 30,000 protest in close contact without restrictions or fines. It’s on the Andrew’s govt.
