Very true in rural/mid America. For them, it only affects people of color, old people, and those pesky packing plants, where they just fire the employee if he/she gets sick & doesn't show up. To Corp & Republicans these are all replaceable. So, the virus is not relevant here.

Even in my state (NY) where we took it seriously, many are now jumping on the “this was overblown; it’s no worse than flu; blah; blah” bandwagon. They quote ‘experts,’ radio personalities, podcasters and say media and hospitals overcounted cases! My own family. I’m so tired.

Just another “expert” giving his opinion. “Wear a mask, don’t need to wear a mask”. “Wear gloves to avoid Covid 19 infections”. “People can’t be infected by touching surfaces”. Hospitals paid more money for reporting Covid 19 deaths. Impossible to determine who to believe.

Poor education has led us here. 60 year old adults do not have the functional knowledge of a well educated child now and we can't avoid the damage it is causing.
