The Las Piñas City government recorded 18 recoveries from coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Monday (June 22), among them an 80 year-old female senior citizen and nine employees of the City Environment and Natural Resources (CENRO).

According to City Health Office head Dr. Ferdinand Eusebio, among the patients who recovered from the virus were an 80-year-old female retiree, a resident of Barangay Pamplona Dos; and nine CENRO employees who were garbage collectors.

As of June 22, the CHO has recorded a total of 423 COVID-19 positive cases, 234 recoveries, 33 deaths, 156 active cases, 59 probable, and 46 suspected. Meanwhile, Mayor Imelda Aguilar ordered the CHO to intensify their expanded targeted testing to contain the spread of the disease in the city and ensure the health and safety of the residents.
