Health Ministry stopped using hydroxychloroquine to treat Covid-19 patients, says no effect

“We used it because it has anti-inflammatory properties for the beginning stages of Covid-19. But when we collect the data, after around 500 cases, we found that there was no positive effect of the medication. At the early stages of the pandemic, the ministry as well as the World Health Organisation were still experimenting on methods to treat the disease.
