CAGAYAN----The Cagayan Valley recorded one new case of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nueva Vizcaya, bringing the total number of cases to 44.

CAGAYAN—-The Cagayan Valley recorded one new case of the coronavirus disease in Nueva Vizcaya, bringing the total number of cases to 44.

DOH Region 2 said the patient is a 34-year-old overseas Filipino worker from Diadi, Nueva Vizcaya. He arrived from Saudi Arabia on June 7 and was in close contact with a person from Lagawe, Ifugao who tested positive for the coronavirus. The patient, after he tested positive for COVID-19 through a swab test, was transferred to the Region 2 Trauma and Medical Center .There are now six positive cases of COVID 19 in the entire region — four in Isabela, one in Cagayan, and one in Nueva Vizcaya.
