Scientists discover people with some underlying diseases have more 'doorways' for infection on their cells

People with underlying health conditions like lung disease, diabetes and high blood pressure are at higher risk of severe coronavirus. Researchers at the University of Sao Paulo and the University of Washington tested lung samples from 700 people with these diseases and healthy people.
