The Oasis Project, which provides temporary housing units for health workers fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, was formally opened by the Office of the Vice President and its partner agencies from the private sector on Monday. | GabrielLaluINQ

According to a statement issued by the OVP, the project is the realization of the shared vision of Vice President Leni Robredo and her Angat Buhay partners of providing a “haven” where frontline workers could “rest and recharge” in their battle against the pandemic.Robredo was present at the opening of the shelter, which is inside the Lung Center of the Philippines compound on Quezon Avenue in Quezon City.

The OVP’s partners include architects who designed the structures, construction, industrial, and housing companies, hardware stores, gardening shops, and the 51st Engineer Brigade of the Philippine Army.
