VIENTIANE (Xinhua): Laos has conducted 10,146 tests for Covid-19 (coronavirus) since January, announced the National Taskforce Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control on Sunday (June 14).

Laos has been carrying out tests daily for the Covid-19 since January, with the total number of tests reaching 10,146, with 19 cases tested positive, Centre of Information and Education for Health under Laos Ministry of Health reported in its press release on Sunday.

Among 10,146 people who have done such test for the virus, 19 cases have been confirmed and all of them have been discharged from hospitals.Laos announced its first two Covid-19 confirmed cases on March 24, and the last patient was discharged on Tuesday. - Xinhua/Asian News Network
