PUTRAJAYA: Eighty-one Malaysians who were stranded in the southern Philipines returned home on Friday, said Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein. Five medical officers from the Health Ministry as well as the RMAF were also on board to monitor the passengers.

PUTRAJAYA: Eighty-one Malaysians who were stranded in the southern Philipines returned home on Friday, said Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein.

Five medical officers from the Health Ministry as well as the RMAF were also on board to monitor the passengers. They were stranded in the Philipines following the enforcement of curfew and lockdown in that country to curb the spread of COVID-19. He also recorded his appreciation to the Malaysian Armed Forces especially the RMAF as well as the Philipines government which had helped facilitate the process of bringing home the affected Malaysians.
