The National Health Commission said in a statement that five of the new confirmed patients were so-called imported cases involving travelers from overseas.The NHC reported seven confirmed cases and one asymptomatic case a day earlier.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in mainland China now stands at 83,075, while the death toll remained unchanged at 4,634. China does not count asymptomatic patients, who are infected with the virus but do not display symptoms, as confirmed cases.
China’s story is making the need of Tracing, Tracking and Testing of asymptomatic patients a key concern that deserves urgent consideration.
How now? I thought they recently lectured the world on how they hard a vaccine and traditional medicine for the bug.
Now they need to 'report/confirm' tens of thousand of other cases they haven't but is understandable they're a little bit behind specially after finding & confirming '7 asymptomatic' new cases out of 1.14-Billion people!
