Prime Minister Scott Morrison is seeking to wedge Labor leader Anthony Albanese over whether he supports the continuance of Black Lives Matter rallies, despite the risk they pose to public health, according to Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell.

Health authorities have urged protestors to stay home this weekend and find other ways to show support for their cause, amid revelations an individual who attended last weekend’s Black Lives Matter protest in Melbourne had COVID-19. A number of Black Lives Matter rallies are scheduled to go ahead this weekend, with Mr Morrison warning those who attend could be arrested for breaking COVID-19 restrictions.
