|Prime Minister Scott Morrison has his "head in the sand" if he believes systemic violence against black people is not occurring in Australia, according to Greens senator Dr Mehreen Faruqi. Prime Minister Scott Morrison has called for protesters breaking health restrictions to be charged, declaring the rallies a "double standard" which risk delaying the country's reopening.

In his first media appearance since the weekend - when tens of thousands of people turned out to rallies in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra and Brisbane - Scott Morrison warned Australians they were risking months of hard work put in to defeat the coronavirus.
