The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation has commenced the construction of a 200-bed Emergency and Infectious Disease Hospital for the North-west region in Katsina State.
He added that the project when completed, would provide medical consumables, logistics and inpatients support system to cater for the residents within the North-west region. “This project will be delivered. We are doing it in 12 states of the six geopolitical zones of this country. We are trusting that this project will be run efficiently by the Katsina State Government.
Earlier, the Katsina State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Mannir Yakubu, said the construction of the infectious disease hospital would complement the effort of the state government in expanding its isolation centres across the state.
Why Katsina? Despite the multi dollar world class Air force Hospital that was built and commissioned in Daura last year. Must we do eye service with everything?
MKKyari, U have northernised NNPC. OML 29 & several others provided the money NNPC wants to spend on the hospital in Kd. How many clinics have NNPC built in the ND since you assumed office? What you &'ur backers are doing to us are hate actions & God will judge you.

Why do we find so means of looting our intellects in a bargain for unnecessary attention? Why do we misplace our priorities to the point that NNPCgroup, an Oil and Gas Corporation is doing the job of Fmohnigeria and NCDCgov? Is these funds to be used by NNPC budgeted?
