Of the new cases detected on Monday, Melaka recorded 13 cases followed by Kuala Lumpur and Selangor with 11 cases respectively, while Johor recorded two cases and Perak had only one.
Malaysia recorded 38 new Covid-19 cases on Monday, bringing the total number of infections to 7,857 cases. Of the 38 news cases, 26 were imported while the 12 were local transmitted cases involving six foreigners and six Malaysians.
