The Taguig City local government on Saturday reported on the number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases in the city. Through a Facebook post, it reported that as of May 30, there are 1,572 suspect COVID-19 cases in Taguig.

The post showed that there are 424 confirmed cases, while 92 have recovered so far. It added that there have been 21 deaths due to COVID-19.

Taguig City has been implementing measures in accordance with what level of community quarantine Metro Manila is currently under. Mass testing is also being conducted, while social distancing protocols are also being implemented. Barely a week ago, the city passed an ordinance making the wearing of face mask in public areas mandatory. #
