Many NHS and care staff have been forced to face this virus without adequate protective equipment. Lack of PPE leaves those on the front line in fear – fear for their own health and fear of spreading the virus to others.
Think the suicide rates were high before? Just wait. When there's no help coming, there's only so long you can hold out.
The anxiety is caused by a lack of political leadership and the ruination of our society. The mental health of most people would be fine if we could just get society in order. That is what we elected them to do, and if they can't do it then we must rise to the challenge instead.
