EXCLUSIVE: Ahead of a meeting of the World Health Assembly to discuss an independent inquiry into COVID-19, Australian government sources have indicated they expect China to agree to the probe.

EXCLUSIVE: The Australian government believes China will not oppose a resolution on an independent investigation into the origins of the coronavirus ahead of a meeting of the World Health Assembly on Tuesday.

Sky News host Sharri Markson says the push from the global coalition of 62 nations has been outlined in a draft resolution which will put to the floor of the assembly on May 19. Not one country as yet indicated it will oppose the resolution, which is expected not to go to a vote, but rather approved by consensus. Ms Markson said the African Bloc of nations have not commented as to whether they will support or oppose the resolution.

Can WHO be trusted Hahahah no way

Of course they’re going to agree, they dont have any choice now that their coercion and bullying didn’t work. Besides, they had 4+ months to hide/destroy the evidence.

How could we have a proper investigation if critical evidence is already reportedly been destroyed? This is a diabolical move on CCPChina's part. Rest of world: Know your enemy.

Sure they do, they have no choice now. They’ll just insist it be done by their PR dept, the WHO, they’ll provide “ALL” of the evidence to them, and then proofread the report.

Yes, China will agree to enter negotiations for a covid inquiry. After 18 months of excruciating tooth pulling, China will make a Phase 1 agreement, permitting international inspectors into the ground floor lobby of the Wuhan lab. foolmetwice

We all know it was a bio weapon, wake up sleepers

Please take the Survey: Stand up for our sovereignty and economic independence, and against threats from China.

This will be a whitewash just like the 911 inquiry was, because it will not be politically expedient to release the truth. As if they could not track the financial transactions shorting airlines, banks & insurers in the week leading up to 911. WasteOfTime Auspol Covid19 CCP

Kieran_Gilbert Never believe in CCP, CCP x-Leader Deng said:

They have had time to hide what they need to. Plus their cheques have cleared to pay off who they have had to.

SharriMarkson Yeah, ok. China will now cooperate This is really naive

What would Australia know? Gov Minister can't get his calls returned. AU exceptionalism deflated. 'A spokesman for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade said Australia would support a European Union-led resolution to be presented to the World Health Assembly on Monday.'

Evidence would be gone already anyways nuke them I say

CourneyZMC 肯定不會讓人調查的

Of course They’ve had more than enough time and warning to burn the evidence

Innocence welcomes scrutiny when so much is at stake.

don't care we all know what happened well enough. I won't be buying China made products, business can ignore the reasons to move all they want and stay in China I'll vote with my money

I don't understand what the Aus media want say There are about 206 countrie on this earth Only one country is left on this earth for the Aus media that country name is China Aus can do its economic work with China becaus the rest of the country is finished for busines for Aus

Owe

nznfreez They wont agree to anything because they believe they did nothing wrong and wont permit foreigners into the country to investigate and that will light the fuse to bringing them democracy

Filthy

The CCP are all about projection. They desire to project a good clean image to the world, yet their actions bring the opposite. The past months are great examples of this.

Perhaps China feels confident enough that their destructions of evidences is watertight now! How many months is this agreement too late? True, late is still better than never.

If China oppose the inquiry, it means they are guilty, and have something to hide. Why else would they be furious about it? Because it makes them look bad.
