A police investigator without any symptoms has been found positive for the COVID-19 after 94 percent of the 966-man Caloocan City police force underwent swab testing. | MegINQ

According to Caloocan police chief Police Col. Dario Menor, the policeman’s test results came out eight days after he was tested on May 5.“We have to separate the coronavirus-positive patient even if he is asymptomatic. The nature of our job is that we communicate with different types of people daily, and we may be silent carriers [of the virus] without even knowing it,” he said.

Menor added that they were coordinating with the city health office so that the policeman could be accommodated at the designated quarantine facility for COVID-19 patients.
