SUMMER holidays abroad for Brits will be cancelled this year thanks to coronavirus, Matt Hancock said this morning.
The Health Secretary told This Morning that the public likely won't be able to go out of the country for a getaway for the rest of the summer months.Brits probably won;t be able to go abroad for a summer holiday this year, Hancock saidMatt Hancock this morning said Brits won't be able to take an international summer holiday this yearAnd he replied: "I think that’s likely to be the case.
"I think it’s unlikely that big lavish international holidays are going to be possible for this summer."At the moment all non-essential travel is cancelled - whether that's within the UK or abroad.The Foreign Office has extended this advice to be "indefinitely" with no end in sight for when the public may be able to travel once again.
