State leaders across the U.S. sought to increase testing for the new coronavirus while easing restrictions, even as some countries that had seen a decline in cases of the illness report a resurgence.
Meanwhile, after two White House officials, including the vice president’s press secretary, tested positive for the virus, three of the administration’s top health-care officials have begun quarantining themselves to various extents.
Since the goal is mitigation, shouldn’t we be opening and closing every three days until everyone is infected?
Relevant how? Lots of people have been infected with the various flu strains this year, including the COVID flu. Relevant ’s would be deaths or severe cases by percentage of the population
Who cares. Not worth the economic disaster. Go to work.
Reminder: The original idea was flattening the curve. Only when the great powers that came with lock downs were discovered it turned into „everybody safe all the time“. Infections are to be expected and no reason to panic.
Better boost the testing. We aren't staying inside anymore and watching our futures evaporate. This country was not built by Americans sitting down and cowering.

Based on studies in New York and Arizona, the actual infection rate is 10-20 times higher than confirmed cases. What does that mean - the death rate is SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than what is reported. Not all people that want to reopen the economy want to kill grandma
That's not news, everybody already knows that.
Does anybody believe only 1.3 million? Antibody testing has that number in the 10 of millions. Mortality rate is under 1/2%. When will this stupidity end? Protect the old, infirmed and nursing homes. Enough already. Get back to work.
