Recovered COVID-19 patients are being asked to donate plasma to scientists who believe they may have discovered a treatment for the most severe coronavirus cases.

Biotech company CSL required 800 donations from people who have recovered from the virus in order to conduct a trial to assess whether the treatment is successful for those in a

serious condition. Health Minister Greg Hunt encouraged the nearly 6,000 recovered COVID patients to help, saying the trial was “not a guarantee but it is promising”. Image: Getty

United States and Communist China ‘set to face off’ on COVID-19 investigations | Sky News AustraliaTensions are set to become inflamed between Washington and Beijing which simply denotes communist China must “come clean (and) admit the source of the virus” and allow an independent investigation to take place says Sky News host Chris Kenny. \n\nUS Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has recently produced a scathing assessment of China and its questionable practices in the field of medical research, stating the communist superpower had a history of 'infecting the world' and 'running sub-standard laboratories'.\n\nHe also claimed there was a 'significant amount of evidence' COVID-19 originated from a Chinese lab and not wet markets from Wuhan. \n\n“We need more international pressure on China, and now in the US, the secretary of state has gone a step further than supporting an investigation,” Mr Kenny said. \n\nMr Kenny said China has engaged in “nasty, threatening and over the top reactions to all of this” as calls for an independent investigation into the pandemic continue to amplify. \n\nImage: AP Sky news is repulsive. I really hope you go bankrupt. When start blaming somebody all you are doing is highlighting your own deficiencies. If it was a financial thing thing then we should start suing the US for the GFC. I'm just wonderinghhow would the today's world leaders respond to the pandemic if it happened in Soviet Union under LeonidBrezhnev?
