- Former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. said Tuesday he is now COVID-19 free.
Marcos said he was tested using the Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction or RT-PCR tests, which is considered the"gold standard test" by the Department of Health. In March, Marcos’s spokesperson, lawyer Victor Rodriguez, confirmed that the former senator and 2016 vice presidential candidate had tested positive for COVID-19.
