The Nigeria Medical Association has condemned the decision taken by the President Muhammadu Buhari’s government, relaxing the Coronavirus lockdown in Abuja, Lagos and Ogun States.
President Buhari on Monday announced that by Monday, May 4, the lockdown will be relaxed in Abuja, Lagos and Ogun. “More so, the revelation by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control that the nation lacks bed spaces in Lagos worsens this frightening scenario.
I am not going anywhere on Monday. Those who do will regret it sooner than later. I suggest people test the water before entering on Monday. I dear for the worst.
Government are running away from their responsibilities by providing palliatives and other needs that is why they said we should come out. Please protect yourselves my people. Nigeria government don’t mean well for the masses

I don't expect this, from a medical body like NMA. You can imagine your self in the shoes of those who don't have food to eat and some menial workers or the daily paid workers, am sure you will not support lockdown for a month.
