The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has drafted a 17-page document that details interim guidance on how businesses, schools, churches, mass transit and other organizations should handle safely reopening amid the coronavirus pandemic

A federal health official stressed that the draft guidance, which was sent to Washington this week, is still under review by the Trump Administration and could change. The draft document was sent to CNN on Thursday by a person familiar with the deliberations. Details in the document provide a snapshot of what reopening in the United States could look like.

How the pandemic will change schools when they reopen 02:45Behind the scenes, industry groups have been pressuring the administration to issue nationwide standards for businesses so that a consistent set of advice exists across states. Some have also asked the White House to be mindful of businesses' bottom lines as they recommend potentially expensive changes to how operations are run.

Palm Sunday amid social distancing rules 02:32The document also suggests to avoid or consider suspending the use of a choir or musical ensemble during religious services or other programming, if appropriate within the faith tradition. Instead, the document notes to consider having a soloist or limiting the number of choir members and keep at least six feet apart.

Dr. Gupta shows spread of virus with a restaurant seating chart 01:31The document also encourages employers to protect employees who may be at higher risk for severe illness from Covid-19 by supporting and encouraging options to work at home or remotely. People at higher risk of severe illness are those with underlying health conditions and older adults.

For mass transit, the document suggests restricting routes between areas experiencing different levels of coronavirus transmission and to intensify cleaning, disinfection and ventilation."Mass transit is critical for many Americans to commute to and from work and to access essential goods and services," the document states.

The same ' guidance' (pages full) they've given for the meat packing plants? If feasable, whenever possible, etc., etc., NO CREDIBILITY...

Does it include rapid increase in deaths?

What is this? CNNisTrash

Do you really think Trump’s followers will read a 17-page document? Has it got drawings to color?

Stay home-stay safe -save lives

Even if schools had room to keep kids 6ft apart, how would you keep them apart? Kids are social & want to be close. It would take draconian measures. Seems ridiculous considering kids are the lowest risk group. My guess is the authors of new CDC guidelines don't have young kids

I glanced and thought that was the back of Kurt Cobain’s head lol

Spaced out seating in schools? I had a teacher who had so many students that he had to squeeze thrift store couches against the walls in addition to too many desks, and that was his honors & AP class. You can't space out school seating in a lot of places!

I want to see these schools with room for all the students to fit 6 feet apart

This is why we can't have nice things ... COVID19 'I want to go back to where it was, that's where we're going to be,' Trump said.

uh, I don't recall voting for Fauci or the CDC.... Enough of the bullshit. Let's get back to work.

This is only a preliminary report but should be a warning of things to check, air flow in restaurants is generally recirculated on warm days and the air flow can carry fine droplets of virus.

Probably about half of what they say considering they lie about the numbers

Dr. Erickson had it correct. CNN will lie to you and everyone they put on their programs. Sars, Mers, and H1N1 didnt come back. Not all can breathe using a mask and using a mask too long at one time is actually bad for you.

Time to open up!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
