UK is doing as little as possible because they have left testing, tracing & isolating too late so all they can do is test half heartily so it looks like they are doing something..they know there's only 2 ways out of this a vaccine or herd immunity..so it's Russian roulette for us
'Emerging evidence'? Odd that, despite the existence of masks for several centuries, no evidence has been found until now. Allegedly. Still, always useful to revive a failing narrative about a lack of PPE for frontline healthcare workers.
Good morning! It was black and white to the rest of the world but obviously lack of PPE blurred the eyes of the decision makers!
Here's what I don't get. Presumably, face masks were never going to make things worse. Even if the science was unproven, why not at least try them?

No one should be forced to wear a mask.
Germany have dealt with this much better than we have, so why don’t we follow their example. Their citizens have to wear masks but we can’t even decide if we should or not! Seems to me we’d be better off following Germany’s example, rather than our own medical advisors.
