CORONAVIRUS | He says this is based on the data of April 3 which showed 217 new cases, but the ministry did not see any further peak after that.

| Malaysia is on a recovery phase in its efforts to stamp out the Covid-19 pandemic, said Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

Noor Hisham said that the ministry had initially braced for a peak on April 14 of 6,300 new cases, but that figure was not seen.
