New South Wales Premier Gladys Berejiklian says COVID-19 testing is now available to everyone right across the state.
“We’re increasing the testing to include everybody across the state not just those who work with high risk people and not just those in high risk clusters,” she said on Friday. “If you have symptoms, if you’ve been in contact with anyone and are worried you have the disease please get tested.” The Premier said she wanted to see the number of tests above 8,000 every day because higher rates of testing was “critical” to lifting restrictions.
