Flight crews inadequately screened for Covid-19, says union

The National Union of Flight Attendants Malaysia is concerned that airlines are not properly screening the flight crews for coronavirus infection. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, April 22, 2020.

THE National Union of Flight Attendants Malaysia has urged the Health Ministry to investigate complaints about a lack of virus screening for flight crews. The union said cabin crews were quarantined for 72 hours before a flight, which was inadequate and not in accordance with Health Ministry guidelines.
