L.A. County Department of Public Health will soon begin publicly listing restaurants that have had outbreaks of COVID-19.
“Later this week, we will be including on this list restaurants that have had outbreaks as well,” she said.
Korea got that, and its really messed up businesses even if the are completely free of the virus. A lesson from that is if you open up your business kiss it goodbye even if you are covid free. The irrational smell of the virus lingers long after its gone.
While I understand why LA County is doing this, why just stop at restaurants? What about grocery stores? Other essential businesses? County buildings? (Have any county employees - not LASD or firefighters - gotten sick?)

Yikes!!!! Please do!
This will make the impact of a bad Yelp review feel like nothing.
Ah, going to the scarlet letter playbook. 'Outbreaks', like we had in LA? Pfft!
Well hmm dip shit lefties , busses don’t have 20 foot distancing laws, bandanas don’t work and restaurant workers go to work in their Bentley’s
If the virus doesn’t kill their business, LA county will make sure they do .
Why is there a firewall on this? Seems really essential to public health.
Los Angeles Times you’re really stretching it here. I smell Fake News!!! It just foul reporting. You guys keep this up, you’ll be losing credibility with your subscribers. Shame!
What about Amazon?
OF COURSE!! That’s a public health issue! Restaurants get letter grades from the Environmental Health dept which is under the PH dept. Coronavirus should be public knowledge. We all want to know about rats & roaches. Include covid-19 too!
How does an outbreak occur online? Do people get virtually ill? Signed, misplaced modifier.
