Japan's health system is reportedly on the verge of collapse as the country struggles with the escalating coronavirus crisis.

One of the country's key medical associations claims those who are suffering from medical conditions such as strokes, heart attacks and external injuries are being turned away from hospitals as the health system prioritises coronavirus patients. Japan has allegedly run out of stockpiles of emergency medicine and there is not enough protective gear for medical workers as confirmed cases of the virus rise to 9,787.

Coronavirus update: Oh dear. Good luck to our Japanese friends. How can we help them from Oz? Our numbers are down, so we have some breathing space - so, what do they need? Can we do something?

I expect their hospitals are as quiet as ours. The ChiCom 🦠 is a hoax.

Coronavirus 'repercussions' inflicted 'by the government and not the disease' | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Andrew Bolt says the current 'police state' facing Australia has led to depression, loneliness, suicide and unemployment which was caused 'not because of the virus but because of the government's reaction'. \n\nMy Bolt said Prime Minister Scott Morrison's Thursday announcement, addressing when strict social distancing measures may be lifted in the country, didn't really answer 'the real questions'. \n\nDuring the announcement, Mr Morrison had said there are “no plans” to change the current lockdown measures for at least another four weeks. \n\nSpeaking about the update in Canberra, he said restrictions would only be eased if Australia met three key conditions: increased testing, better contact tracing, and the ability to lock down localised areas in cases of outbreaks. \n\n'Is the prime minister serious?' Mr Bolt said. \n\n'We just had yet another day of fewer than 50 new coronavirus infections'. \n\n'We had another day where the number of people who got better was much higher than number getting sick'. \n\nHe said the lack of clear government answers and the continual imposition of strict measures are 'now too much, the cost of it is too high'. \n\n'The curve the government said we had to flatten is now flat, flat as a pancake'. \n\nImage: Getty Nobody cares. Just stick to abusing the CCP. That's what we actually want to hear. Will Andrew Bolt be citing sources as evidence for this claim or merely asserting it because he thinks it might be true? Better than having 15000 dead
