Australia’s COVID-19 death toll rises to 69 after three NSW deaths | Sky News Australia

At least 30 people, including 10 staff and 20 residents, have tested positive for the virus at the Newmarch House in Western Sydney. Overnight a 58-year-old woman and 83-year-old man also died from the virus.

Deputy Chief Medical Officer Paul Kelly said the virus is a reminder that it's “not just an old person’s disease, we are all in this together for a reason because it can affect any of us”. “Whilst it is true to say majority of cases, over 80 per cent are mild, some of them can be very severe,” he said. “We still have 55 people across Australia in intensive care right now, some of those are being ventilated and some of those extremely sick.” The national death toll has now risen to 69.

Bet my sac that all of these elderly dying are on the same blood pressure medication. The inaction of our Governments not to inform the elderly of the increased risk of severity & infection of these medications. Nothing short of the genocide of beloved elderly!
