Schools across the country have been closed since mid-March as the government struggles to contain the spread of Covid-19.
Education Minister Radzi Md Jidin said yesterday that any decision to reopen schools would only be made once the situation returns to normal.Lee said the rate of infection would only drop if testing kits could post results in less than 24 hours, and if contact tracing could be carried out immediately with the help of community leaders.
Health watchdog Galen Centre for Health and Social Policy said schools and colleges could be reopened based on whether they are in green or even yellow zones.
