THE number of coronavirus cases in the cities of Manila and Quezon continue to rise, officials said on Sunday.

Manila reported 14 new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 on Saturday, bringing the total positive cases to 305. Quezon City had 764 cases.Sampaloc district had the most number of Covid cases — 74. It was followed by Tondo District 2 with 36 cases; Sta Cruz and Sta Mesa, both with 27 cases each; Tondo District I, 26; San Andres, 23; Malate, 18; Paco, 15; Pandacan, 14; Sta. Ana, 13; San Miguel, 7; Ermita, 10; Binondo and Quiapo 5 cases each; San Nicolas, 3; and Baseco with two cases.
